    修行就是造业

           通常,人们都会认同佛法中的“修行”是为了“消业”,但其实,修行也是造业。
           前日在共修时有同学提到“随缘消旧业,不再栽新秧”这一我们平常很常见的说法。但是善知识说,这其实是小乘的发心,而依照大乘菩萨道的发心,我们是要努力地“栽新秧”的,因为菩萨道的修行,就是造业,造与菩萨一样的共业,造成佛的业,而不仅仅是以个人的“入灭”、“不受后有”为目标。善知识还告诉了我们一个很重要的概念:凡是抉择都跟五蕴中的行蕴有关,凡是跟行蕴有关的都是造业。我们选择行善而不作恶本身就是造业。
           而“修行就是造业”的观点也绝非后人之说,乃是《华严经光明觉品》中文殊菩萨的开示——
         
        尔时光明过千世界。遍照东方十千世界。南西北方。四维上下。亦复如是。彼一一世界中。皆有百亿阎浮提。乃至百亿色究竟天。其中所有。悉皆明现。彼一一阎浮提中。悉见如来。坐莲华藏师子之座。十佛刹微尘数菩萨。所共围绕。悉以佛神力故。十方各有一大菩萨。一一各与十佛刹。微尘数诸菩萨俱。来诣佛所。其大菩萨。谓文殊师利等。所从来国。谓金色世界等。本所事佛。谓不动智如来等。尔时一切处。文殊师利菩萨。各于佛所。同时发声。说此颂言 
     
     发起大悲心  救护诸众生
     永出人天众  如是业应作
     意常信乐佛  其心不退转
     亲近诸如来  如是业应作
     志乐佛功德  其心永不退
     住于清凉慧  如是业应作
     一切威仪中  常念佛功德
     昼夜无暂断  如是业应作
     观无边三世  学彼佛功德
     常无厌倦心  如是业应作
     观身如实相  一切皆寂灭
     离我无我着  如是业应作
     等观众生心  不起诸分别
     入于真实境  如是业应作
     悉举无边界  普饮一切海
     此神通智力  如是业应作
     思惟诸国土  色与非色相
     一切悉能知  如是业应作
     十方国土尘  一尘为一佛
     悉能知其数  如是业应作
